About Elevate

OUR STORY

Elevate was born in 2010 from a pivotal conversation between founders Priya Sharma and Dr. Rajiv Mehta on a flight from Delhi to Mumbai. Both had extensive corporate experience but shared a frustration: Indian businesses were adopting global practices without adapting them to local contexts, resulting in ineffective leadership and stunted growth.

Starting with just three clients in a small office in Mumbai's business district, our founders combined Western business methodologies with deep understanding of Indian business culture. Within two years, our client base expanded to include startups and established corporations across technology, manufacturing, and retail sectors.

The turning point came in 2015 when we helped a struggling family-owned manufacturing business successfully transition to the third generation while implementing digital transformation. This case study gained national attention and established Elevate as pioneers in culturally-attuned business coaching.

Today, with offices in Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Bangalore, and Hyderabad, our team of 27 specialized coaches has transformed over 500 businesses across India. We remain committed to our founding vision: elevating Indian businesses by bridging global best practices with local wisdom.

CEO & Co-Founder

Former SVP at a multinational bank, Priya brings 20+ years of experience in financial services and organizational leadership. She holds an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad and executive education credentials from Harvard Business School. Priya specializes in executive leadership and organizational transformation, with particular expertise in helping traditional businesses navigate digital disruption.

DR. RAJIV MEHTA

Chief Methodology Officer & Co-Founder

With a Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology from Stanford University and previous experience as a professor at ISB Hyderabad, Rajiv brings academic rigor to our coaching methodology. He has published extensively on leadership development in emerging economies and is frequently invited to speak at international business conferences on the evolution of Indian management practices.

AANYA KAPOOR

Head of Innovation

A serial entrepreneur with three successful exits, Aanya joined Elevate in 2016 to lead our startup acceleration and innovation programs. Her background in technology and product development brings a practical, results-oriented approach to our coaching methodology. She holds a degree in Computer Science from IIT Bombay and specializes in agile leadership and rapid scaling strategies.

VIKRAM SINGH

Director of Client Success

A former national cricket player turned business strategist, Vikram leverages his sports background to create high-performance team environments. He joined Elevate in 2013 after completing his MBA at London Business School and working with global consulting firms. Vikram oversees client relationships and ensures consistent quality across all coaching engagements. His specialty lies in team dynamics and performance optimization.
